A survey of 25 winery projects across California, this volume documents a recent generation of design—one that favors sustainability, landscape integration, and contemporary architectural language over historical pastiche. Designed by practices including Backen Gillam Kroeger and Signum Architecture, the featured buildings reflect a shift toward purpose-built spaces for wine tourism that are expressive of their settings and vintner identity. Among the featured projects is the Ram's Gate Winery, Napa Valley and the Progeny Winery, with lighting design by Vita Pehar Design.
