A Sonoma hillside residence with original architectural concept by Harvey and Conrad Sanchez; later refined during construction by designer Ron Mann, who developed the interiors and reworked architectural elements. The home integrates rustic materials and sculptural massing within a contemporary California vernacular. Lighting throughout by Vita Pehar Design supports the residence’s layered spatial planning and continuity of materials, particularly in the central great room. Landscape design by John Greenlee.
“It’s a real collaboration,” Mann notes. “We all worked together to create something that would be in keeping with the land.” Finishes throughout include cedar, bronze, plaster, and limestone, selected for tone and permanence.
